Your daughter said that she
can't remember what her birth
mom looks like. Does she
have a picture? Does she
have a picture of them
together? A child seems to
be afraid they will forget
someone who has died, perhaps
she feels responsible to
keep the memories somehow.

Hi, a bit of the subject but still in the same comment lines here.

Question:
About: Legal guardians/ obvious to be a Legal guardian all this was accepted through signing you as been the Legal person in cases such as this situation here.
Just wondering as some people can place just on paper who they like to be a Guardian between say a Social worker and person involved and child, but this does not mean this is necessary legal just with a Social worker witlessness this before a Adoption?? Until a Lawyer is involved.
Can any one with facts Please do reply.....

Hi Marie,
I found your post interesting. I do the same thing for my son with validating his feelings. I'm the legal guardian of a 5 year old. He has lived with me 3 years. We visit the birth mom every month. she is very unstable. He loves her so much. I'm starting to recogonize some ADHD and impulsiveness in him. This is my first time posting. I've called today to get him in counseling. I really need help dealing with his issues. Thanks for sharing.
