I believe the disdain comes from people’s “need” to feel to superior to others so that they can feel better about themselves. So many people struggle with self-loathing and don’t know how to overcome this. Rather than learn how to love themselves, they point their fingers to other groups of people and feel better about themselves by comparison.

It breaks my heart whenever we, as a society, choose a group of people for whom it is okay to hate or look down upon. We generally choose people like prostitutes — those who have no voice.

Why do they think they should be judging in the first place? The drug culture and addiction have caused a lot of prostitution.
