I have really been enjoying participating in Love Thursday. What a great idea. Its difficult narrowing down my picture choices and finding the story to go with it. I have tons of cute photos. I love candid shots. I like capturing my daughter in the moment. The other evening I walked into the Family room and Livi had set up her little dolls with bowls & spoons. She had given each one a bowl, spoon and a fruity cheerio. She would say sit Pooh... Good. Sit Baby.... Good. Sit Kitty... Good. I just had to grab my camera and snap a pic. She later gathered more stuffed animals and even included me in her party. It was the cutest thing ever.I guess I did not realize that children so young started the pretend play already. I love seeing her nurture, feed and rock her baby dolls. She is at such a cute age.

You can tell alot about the way you parent and nurture your child by watching them play with & love their pretend babies. For instance I say " Good" alot.... I try to put the emphasis on her actions such as saying Good Job or Good work and not " Good Girl". She would tell her babies " good". I loved seeing her mirror me in that way.She is so young and already being a little Mommy. She is such a sweet girl. Her Caretakers at the Baby Home wrote in her journal that I left between trips that even at a young age she was the helper of her groupa. She enjoyed cleaning up and assisting the staff. She loved to Mother her little friends. I cant wait she starts having little tea partys, pretends more and play dress up. Its great having a little girl.Happy Love Thursday.

I am always telling my 2 yr old son the same thing "good job tidying your toys", "good counting". so the other day I started signing the ABCs and when I finished he says "good ABC's mommy, good job". Or the other day I put my shoes and coat on only to turn around and have him say "good putting shoes on the right foot", then I did up my zqipper and he started cheering for me "yay mommy - did it all by yourself"
