We would like to give gifts to as many people as possible, but our funds are tied to the sale of Sweet Hope Candies. Gift amounts will vary.

To apply download the application found below. Send your completed application and a photo of your existing family to the address on the application. We will review all applications and select those we feel called to help.

Recipients of Sweet Hope Assistance will be notified by telephone on Christmas Day! Application deadline is December 11th. Applications must be postmarked by December 11th or they will not be considered for this quarter’s gifts.

Grants will be given once a quarter or depending upon availability of funds. Please read the requirements prior to submitting your application.

When you give money away there has to be a few requirements. Mainly it is our way of keeping people honest and making sure the money goes to those who truly need assistance. Gifts will be given 4 times a year and on availability of funds. Prospective parents must meet the following requirements:

Families MUST be already matched with a child.
Families should have exhausted all possibilities for securing funds prior to applying. We are a last resort not a first one.
There are specific requirements for families adopting from Russia and Guatemala.
There are NO requirements on:

Child’s age
Child’s birth country
Parent’s religious affiliation
Family makeup. We invite families of all shapes and sizes to apply
